Training Modules are designed and developed in coordination with our partners EBZ Technical Centre, Erfurt, Germany, pioneers in vocational training for the development of qualified specialists. MECHATRONICS LAB

OVERVIEW

State of art technology Mechatronics Lab is developed in collaboration with EBZ Germany.

The Mechatronics lab has customized training kits like Electrical Installation Training kit, Sensor Training Kit, PLC and HMI Training Kit, Hydraulics and Pneumatic Training Kit. The Institute has Modular Training Facilities well equipped with Training Hall which can encompass more than 40 participants together with audio visual aids & computer aided graphics & presentations.

INSTRUCTOR STAFF

KEI features a full-time instructor with practical experience, and background in variety of industries including power generation, Mining, Fabrication/manufacturing, oil & gas, construction, maritime. Our instructors are certified from EBZ Germany.

TRAINING METHODS

Hands-on skill development is the primary component of training marking 80% of the clock hours. The remaining time is utilized in the classroom to review key concepts and processes. Demonstration with simulation is available. Individual practice as well as one-on-one instructor coaching is given to participants. Systematic practical and written exams are conducted to ensure that participants have developed the necessary skills and understood key concepts & theories related to CTR products such as Flange Mounted Onload Tapchanger, Intank Tapchanger and Nitrogen Injected Fire Protection System(NIFPS) / Explosion Prevention Fire Extinguishing System (EPFES).

PARTICIPANTS

The Program is designed for Site Engineers, Supervisors and technicians. Average class size is 8 to 10 participants. Lecture based courses can accommodate 40 participants.

WELDING LAB

OVERVIEW

KNOWLEDGE ENHANCEMENT INSTITUTE is dedicated and committed towards conducting Welding Training Programms for its employees and customers to promote advanced knowledge and skills in Welding. Our state of art technology Welding Lab is developed in collaboration with EBZ Germany.

KEI is committed to helping individuals develop marketable welding skills through quality training.

INFRASTRUCTURE

The welding lab has modern amenities like fume extraction system & gas line mani-folding, exposure with prototype job models, aesthetically designed arc welding processes like smaw, tig, gmaw, fcaw, gas brazing systems and plasma cutting system. We have testing facility of DP test, Bend test, Fracture test and vacuum test etc.

Again in 2025, Expansion included to enhance the welding experience for skill and technical training fitters training lab and welding test lab added to the campus.

INSTALLATION COMMISSIONING LAB

OVERVIEW

CTR boosts of a State of art Installation & Commissioning (IC) Lab is developed at their Knowledge Enhancement Institute.

The IC lab has customized training kits / prototype of CTR products like

Flange Mounted Tap Changers – CM16, EO16 & CB16 along with RTCC panel
Intank Tap Changers – ‘S’ type, ‘Z’ type
Nitrogen Injected Fire Protection system with Fire Extinguishing Cubicle, PLC based Control Box, Simulation / Signal Box.
Real Time Power Factor Controlling System

Training modules can be conducted for Installation and Commissioning engineers on Flange Mounted Tap Changers, Intank Tap Changers, NIFPS etc. The training facility is equipped with audio visual aids, computer aided graphics supporting presentations can encompass more than 10 participants.

KEI features a full-time instructor with practical experience, and backgrounds in variety of industries including power generation, Mining, Fabrication/manufacturing, automobile, steel and printing etc.

TRAINING METHODS

Hands-on skill development is the primary component of training, marking 60% of the clock hours. The remaining time is utilized in the classroom to review key concepts and processes. Demonstration with simulation is available. Individual practice as well as one-on-one instructor coaching is given to participants. Systematic practical and written exams are conducted to ensure that participants have developed the necessary skills and understood key concepts & theories related to CTR products such as Flange Mounted Onload Tapchanger, Intank Tapchanger and Nitrogen Injected Fire Protection System(NIFPS) / Explosion Prevention Fire Extinguishing System (EPFES).

PARTICIPANTS

The Program is designed for Site Engineers, Supervisors and technicians as well as newly joined, fresh engineers, technicians who will be working in FP, SS and AP divisions. Average class size is 8 to 10 participants. Lecture based courses can accommodate 40 participants.
